The performance of the $799 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti matches that of the RTX 3090 Ti.

The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti “Ada” performance segment graphics card, with an MSRP beginning at USD $799, was officially introduced by NVIDIA today. The RTX 4070 Ti is effectively the same product as the RTX 4080 12 GB, which NVIDIA decided to discontinue from its initial mid-November launch in favor of a new one this CES, under a different model name. Both products are based on the 4 nm “AD104” technology. With 7,680 CUDA cores, 60 RT cores, 240 Tensor cores, 240 TMUs, and 80 ROPs, the card pushes the limits of the silicon upon which it is based. It has a 192-bit wide memory interface and 12 GB of GDDR6X memory operating at 21 Gbps (GDDR6X-effective). Even on custom-designed goods, the card still uses a 12VHPWR power connector and has an usual power rating of 285 W.

The RTX 4070 Ti, according to NVIDIA, should be capable of 1440p ray tracing AAA gaming at its highest settings and be a force in 4K Ultra HD games that support frame-generation methods like DLSS 3 or even the original DLSS 2. The GeForce RTX 3090 Ti “Ampere,” the previous generation’s flagship, is said to be equivalent in terms of performance, although this model boasts a far higher performance/Watt rating. The RTX 4070 Ti appears to be a partner-driven launch, with custom-designed cards predominating in the market. It does not appear to have an NVIDIA Founders Edition model. Reviews will be available for you before the RTX 4070 Ti becomes available on January 5, 2023.
