Arc A750 vs. RTX 3060 Comparison by Intel Using Latest Driver Update

With the most recent driver update, Intel claims greater performance per dollar than RTX 3060 in a handful of new performance slides for the Arc A750. To correct bugs, add Game On functionality, and boost performance, Intel has been working hard to improve its Arc GPU drivers. The speed improvements in the most recent Arc GPU Graphics Drivers 101.4311 beta version, which were largely concentrated on the Arc A750 and DirectX 12, ranged from 4 percent to 63 percent, depending on the game and resolution, and included various Game On enhancements.

Even though the Arc A750 only has 8 GB of GDDR6 memory, compared to the RTX 3060’s 12 GB of GDDR6 memory, it has a higher maximum memory bandwidth of 512 GB/s because it has a 256-bit memory interface as opposed to the 192-bit one on the RTX 3060 graphics card. In addition, the Intel Arc A750 is less priced at $249 than the RTX 3060 12 GB, which costs about $350.

The most recent driver update, according to Intel’s own slides, improved performance in a number of games, but more crucially, it was sufficient to give the Intel Arc A750 an advantage over the RTX 3060 12 GB graphics card, at least in the Dead Space Remake game. Even though Intel has advertised the RTX 3060 12 GB at a slightly higher price, Arc A750 still provides better performance for your money, at least in select games. Naturally, NVIDIA has RT and DLSS up its sleeve at all times.

Even though it cost $290, the Intel Arc A750 scored fairly well on performance for the money in our study from October of last year. Now that drivers have been updated, it is an even better option.
