The RTX 4070 from NVIDIA is rumored to debut on April 13.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 (non-Ti) is expected to ship in April, and as of right now, the predicted launch date is April 13th. The most recent information was leaked by well-known Twitter user hongxing2020, who has a solid track record and had accurate launch dates for the RTX 30 and RTX 40 series. In case you missed it, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 has slightly less cores than the RTX 4070 Ti but the same memory specifications. Both cards are built on the same AD104 GPU.
Thus, the GeForce RTX 4070 should have 46 streaming multiprocessors (SMs), giving it access to 5,888 CUDA cores. It will have a 192-bit memory interface and 12 GB of GDDR6 memory. TDP is said to be 200 W. RTX 4070 SKUs with 16 GB, 12 GB, and 10 GB of VRAM were rumored to be available from NVIDIA, however this information has only been gleaned via regulatory filings with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). RTX 40 series portfolio is being steadily completed by NVIDIA, so maybe we won’t have to wait too long for information on the RTX 4060 Ti and RTX 4060. On March 21, NVIDIA’s founder and CEO, Jensen Huang, will deliver the opening keynote at GTC, so we may hear at least a few details about the upcoming GeForce portfolio.
