NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Release Date Predicted for January 5
Retailers have proposed January 5, 2023 as the release date for NVIDIA’s next GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics card, which is anticipated to be a rebranding of the RTX 4080 12 GB. A countdown for an ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 4070 Ti O12G custom-designed graphics card was launched by Italian shop Drako. The countdown ends on January 5 and coincides with the expected January 3 announcement of the card. On January 4, it’s also anticipated that RTX 4070 Ti reviews will be permitted to go online.
With 7,680 CUDA cores distributed among 60 SM (streaming multiprocessors), 60 RT cores, 240 Tensor cores, 240 TMUs, and 80 ROPs, the GeForce RTX 4080 12 GB was designed to push the limits of the 4 nm AD104 silicon. The GPU has a 192-bit wide GDDR6X memory interface, and NVIDIA is providing memory with a 21 Gbps speed rating, producing memory bandwidth of 504 GB/s. Its power configuration is what makes it most intriguing. With a typical board power of 285 W, board partners can technically use two 8-pin PCIe power connectors unless they’ve been politely asked to implement the 16-pin 12VHPWR connector.
