Users Can Now Force-Enable FSR 4 in More Games with a New AMD Radeon GPU Tool
A new community tool called “AMD GPU Profile Manager” overrides the driver whitelist, allowing owners of AMD Radeon GPUs to try to enable FSR 4 in additional games. The program exposes AMD Adrenalin profile databases and was published on GitHub by developer Mikhail. Content providers such as Ancient Gameplays have showcased it. Users can add or change entries that normally need official driver support with its help. By permitting games that already support FSR 3.1 to test FSR 4, the manager targets Radeon RX 9000 series cards. Users can watch Adrenalin for indications that the FSR 4 injection is operational after initially enabling FSR 3 in the game or prior to launch. Additionally, the program provides one-click profiles import from AMD tech preview drivers and rapid add buttons for latest test builds. This feature is very useful for users who have switched back to earlier drivers and lost recently added entries. While AMD finishes its formal whitelisting procedure, it seeks to restore functionality and allow power users to experiment.

In addition to the convenience, there are significant warnings. Additionally, pushing FSR 4 into online multiplayer or anti-cheat games may result in crashes, false positives, or account penalties. The application does not guarantee success in every game. The games that are confirmed to work and those that are incompatible are highlighted in community-maintained lists, demonstrations, and project notes. Until developers add formal support, users are urged to avoid applying forced profiles in competitive environments and to backup driver profiles before making changes. According to the creator, the project may expand into a general profile manager like to popular tools in other GPU ecosystems, with additional profile editing functionality planned.
