Hidden Details of the Radeon RX 7300 GPU Found in the AIDA64 Extreme Release Notes
Rumor mills suggested that Radeon RX 7400 and RX 7300 graphics cards, which might be sold through OEM channels, might arrive in August of last year. Insiders speculated that genuine entry-level devices, which would sit beneath the already modest Radeon RX 7600 model in Team Red’s “Navi 33” GPU-based stack, were on the horizon back in the early days of RDNA 3. Kepler_L2 had modest “Navi 33 Ultra Lite with 4 CUs” designs in mind by the middle of 2023. Although a “never released” Radeon RX 7500 XT card is currently mentioned in TechPowerUp’s database, AMD’s (probably less powerful) RX 7400 and RX 7300 models were not given the same consideration.

Many industry watchdogs were surprised to learn that the “AMD Radeon RX 7300 (Navi 33)” GPU information was mentioned in the most recent AIDA64 Extreme (beta) release notes, version 7.65.7415 beta (May 05, 2025). A brief investigative article by VideoCardz brought attention to this revelation; they were unable to locate any official listings for this enigmatic identity. The most recent AIDA64 update included two additional RDNA 3 period models: the 2024 “Radeon RX 7800M (Navi 32)” mobile solution and the previously released “Radeon Pro W7700 (Navi 32)” card.Team Red and a few of its board partners are continuing to promote “new” Navi 33 GPU-based cards, most notably the Radeon RX 7650 GRE special variants that are only available in China, even though the lower-end RDNA 4 graphics cards will soon be released. Theoretically, in 2025, a significant excess of “Hotpink Bonefish” GPU dies would need to be eliminated.
