According to a leak, a Japanese retailer is preparing NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 96 GB stock for May sale, at prices of $8435+.
The professional (PRO) side of NVIDIA’s “Blackwell” GPU line was announced at GTC 2025. Its flagship GDDR7 96 GB variant unleashes the full capability of their GB202 chip. With such a powerful feature set and specification sheet, industry watchdogs expected prices to be quite high. Several of Team Green’s new RTX PRO Blackwell Series SKUs have been added to the webshop of Connection, a North American enterprise PC hardware retailer, as reported by VideoCardz over the weekend. Part of the publication’s readership, including some wealthy people who have already placed pre-orders, gave it tips. “The flagship model, the RTX PRO 6000 with 96 GB of VRAM, will launch at $8435 (bulk) to $8565 (box), and this price apparently applies to both models: the Workstation Edition and a sub-variant called Max-Q,” the inquiry began by highlighting top-tier products. According to NVIDIA, both have the similar specifications, however the latter can only handle 300 W TDP while maintaining 88% of the Al’s performance.

The RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell and RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Max-Q product sites have been deleted by Connection, however the remaining Team Green professional stack is still accessible (see the corresponding screenshot below). The cost of the 48 GB RTX PRO 5000 Blackwell card is $4569.24 (or $4439.50 for bulk). A $696.54 RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell 8 GB variant is the most affordable option. Only the 4500, 5000, and 6000 product tiers were formally disclosed by NVIDIA and PNY, its primary professional series board partner. “The RTX 4000 non-SFF version, while this retailer has six listings for such SKUs (two SFF and two non-SFF, both in bulk and box variants)” is one of the unannounced alternatives that VideoCardz highlighted. This would presumably indicate that NVIDIA might release a non-SFF version at a later time. There may only be one model, though, as the business did not include “SFF” in the official card’s name, therefore this information may no longer be accurate.” A press release from GDM/Hermitage AkiHabara Japan states that a local reseller, Elsa, is getting ready to release NVIDIA’s RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Workstation Edition and RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Max-Q Workstation Edition “in May 2025, while the other models are scheduled for release around summer.” Furthermore, ASK Co., Ltd., another merchant, “has stated that the price and release date are subject to inquiry.”
