March 2025 is the rumored launch date for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti.
The release dates for the RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti GPUs appear to have been confirmed by a newly leaked slide from the Taiwanese business Chaintech. An early Q2 release for the mid-range gaming GPUs in the 8 GB and 16 GB VRAM varieties has been suggested by earlier leaks. Although there are no GPU specifications on Chaintech’s PowerPoint, we do have a decent sense of what the next generation of GPUs will offer.
The RTX 5060 and 5060 Ti are anticipated to use the GB206 GPU, together with 8 or 16 GB of VRAM on a 128-bit bus, according to recent leaks. There is no doubting that 8 GB of VRAM is far from enough for a comfortable ray-traced gaming experience in 2025, and possibly even less so in the near future, even with the use of the quick new GDDR7 standard. The entry-level RTX 5060 is probably going to be difficult to sell to many people given that the Arc B580 comes with 50% more VRAM, unless the RTX 5060/Ti manages to achieve remarkable performance improvements.
