Newegg Features the ONIX Arc B580 Odyssey OC and Lumi OC Models
The company’s debut on the North American e-tail scene has been marked by ONIX’s covert addition of Intel Arc B580 GPU-based models to its Newegg brand store. Team Blue’s launch of the Arc B-series “Battlemage” graphics cards was when TechPowerUp first became aware of this new manufacturer. They quickly followed up with an updated version of TechPowerUp GPU-Z that included “PCI vendor detection for ONIX.” The Odyssey OC and Lumi OC models from the up-and-coming Chinese manufacturer are presently “out of stock” on the Newegg shop, but their attractive pricing ($10 more than Intel’s basic MSRP) has garnered media attention.
Newegg notes on both listings that “this product is temporarily out of stock because of high demand, we will replenish it as soon as possible.” It is unclear if the original supplies of the two ONIX cards were immediately gone. The Arc B580 Odyssey OC 12 GB (black) model currently costs $259.99, while its Lumi OC (white) brother costs $269.99. Please take note that Newegg charges a $9.99 shipping fee. According to VideoCardz, ONIX is pricing less than GUNNIR for comparable specs and fittings and is in direct competition with Sparkle, a seasoned Intel GPU board partner. Although it isn’t listed by Newegg, the Odyssey B570 10 GB variant has a product page on ONIX’s own website and should be available shortly. Last week, Intel and its AIBs announced that the B570 would be available for purchase.
