Intel Core Ultra 200-series “Arrow Lake” 65W Processor Surface Retail Boxes
The retail packaging for the Intel Core Ultra 200-series “Arrow Lake-S” 65 W desktop processors are shown here for the first time. In October 2024, Intel launched the series with Unlocked K-series SKUs. In January 2025, it would add 65 W versions without Unlocked multipliers. The 65 W units come with factory cooling solutions, however the unlocked models do not. Although the coolers’ appearance is unknown, we can assume that Intel would repurpose the fan-heatsinks from its Laminar series, which it introduced with its 12th Gen Core “Alder Lake.”
The business was able to reuse the Laminar series because the new socket LGA1851 maintains cooler compatibility with the prior LGA1700. The Laminar RH1 cooler, which can cool the processor while it draws its full turbo power, may be included in the Core Ultra 9 65 W retail box since it looks to be the largest. Blue LED lighting is included with this cooler. Since the retail boxes for the Core Ultra 7 and Core Ultra 5 65 W seem to have the same thickness, the mid-range Laminar RM1 cooler may be included in both. The RM1 features an illuminated ring along the fan-frame’s bore, although its heatsink is a little narrower. The Laminar RS1, the lightest model without any illumination, is probably going to be included if Intel releases a Core Ultra 3 series (the successor to the Core i3). The boxes of the 65 W SKUs’ regular variations are displayed in the first three images (below); the boxes of the “F” SKUs, which do not include integrated graphics, are displayed in the fourth and fifth images.
