Up to 24 Cores and 5.5 GHz in Laptop Form Found in Intel “Arrow Lake-HX” Leaks

The high-performance “Arrow Lake-HX” chips for laptop space are leaking out, but the impending desktop versions of Intel’s “Arrow Lake” CPUs are garnering all the attention. We find out that Intel has six SKUs ready for laptop enthusiasts to power workstations and gaming thanks to Jaykihn on X. Core Ultra 200 series SKUs 285HX, 275HX, 265HX, 255HX, 245HX, and 235HX are the next ones in line. The Core Ultra Core Ultra 5 245HX / 235HX, which is the entry-level model, has six P-cores operating at 3.1 and 2.9 GHz base speeds, respectively. E-cores are base-clocked at 2.6 GHz for both SKUs. P-cores can be boosted to a maximum of 5.1 GHz, while E-cores can be boosted to a maximum of 4.5 GHz. In terms of graphics, the iGPU’s 48 EUs on the 235 HX run at 1.8 GHz, while the 245 HX runs at 1.9 GHz. While the remaining SKUs support both features, these models do not offer Thermal Velocity Boost or Turbo Boost Max 3.0.

Core Ultra 7 265HX / 255HX is one of the two SKUs in the middle of the stack. Twelve E-cores and eight P-cores are present in both. Here, clock speed is the differentiator. The 265HX’s P-cores operate at 2.6 GHz base and 5.3 GHz boost, whereas the 255HX’s P-cores operate at 2.4 GHz base and 5.2 GHz boost. The 265HX has E-cores pinned at 2.3 GHz base and 4.6 GHz boost, while the 255HX has E-cores operating at 1.8 GHz base and 4.5 GHz boost, indicating a greater disparity in E-core performance. These two SKUs feature an iGPU with 64 EUs tuned to 1.9 GHz.

We have Core Ultra 9 275HX and 285HX CPUs for the top end. Eight P-cores and sixteen E-cores are included with these SKUs. While P-cores on the flagship 285HX SKU are clocked at 2.8 GHz base and 5.5 GHz boost, P-cores on the “weaker” 275HX CPU are clocked at 2.7 GHz base and 5.4 GHz boost. On both SKUs, e-cores have a base frequency of 2.1 GHz and a boost of 4.6 GHz. Similar graphics output capabilities are offered by both SKUs, with the 275HX and 285HX models reaching 64 EUs at 1.9 GH and 2.0 GHz.
