AMD Threatens RTX 4060 Ti and RX 7600 XT with Lower Pricing for Radeon RX 7700 XT.

There is a veritable mountains of graphics card possibilities between $300 and $500 thanks to retailer-specific pricing. If you had enough time to search for the best offer, you might be able to purchase the much faster graphics card you had anticipated at that particular price. Following a recent Best Buy deal that reduced the price of the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8 GB to $344, or within only $15 of the Radeon RX 7600 XT, we’ve learned of a few Newegg deals that reduce the price of the Radeon RX 7700 XT to just $353, which is $24 more than an RX 7600 XT and $9 more than the RTX 4060 Ti.

The RX 7700 XT, which costs $353, is a GPU that is solidly in the 1440p class, unlike the 1080p-class RTX 4060 Ti and RX 7600 XT. In our testing, the Radeon RX 7700 XT outperforms the RTX 4060 Ti by an astounding 17% at 1080p for only $9 extra, and by 19% at 1440p. The RX 7700 XT outperforms the RX 7600 XT by an astounding 39% at 1080p and 44% at 1440p. The RTX 4060 Ti is not as good as the RX 7700 XT, even with ray tracing turned on. With ray tracing turned on, the RTX 4060 Ti outperforms the RX 7700 XT by about 2% on average at 1080p. However, at 1440p, the RX 7700 XT outperforms the RTX 4060 Ti by 14% because of its 50% larger memory bandwidth and significantly heavier SIMD engine. The powerful PowerColor RX 7700 XT Hellhound and Fighter are not even covered by the Newegg partnership, let alone a cheap custom design.
