Pricing for the GeForce RTX 40 SUPER Custom Model Is Leaked
At the just finished CES 2024 trade conference, NVIDIA released basic pricing recommendations for GeForce RTX-40 SUPER graphics cards, but its board partners mostly avoided discussing specific pricing information for customizable options (review embargoes will be lifted soon). Later in the week, ZOTAC departed with the norm, changing their press release to state that non-overclocked models will follow Team Green’s base MSRP. Unknown premium costs, however, apply to overclocked SUPER Twin Edge OC, AMP HOLO, Trinity OC, and AMP Extreme AIRO cards. VideoCardz made the decision to perform some detective work over the weekend and played around on the websites for Best Buy and Newegg, though the attention eventually went to other manufacturers and brands.
Before NVIDIA’s staggered plan of announcement dates for customized variants of the GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, and RTX 4080 SUPER GPUs (during January), workaround techniques were put in place to prematurely extract card prices. Based on the leaked data, GIGABYTE and PNY have customized overclocked GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER versions with a base MSRP of $599, while MSI offers a number of choices with base MSRPs between $10 and $50 more. At $649, GIGABYTE’s GAMING OC card is also the most expensive. As we go up to the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER tier, two models are available: the MSI VENTUS 3X OC costs $899.99, and the GIGABYTE Gaming OC model costs $849.99.The lone custom GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER within the VideoCardz post looks to be an MSI VENTUS 3X OC; we are observing a $100 additional slapped on for this configuration.
