There will be 3 MB of L2 cache on each performance core in Intel Arrow Lake-S.

Intel’s next designs are almost ready to be released, and we are already learning more about them. As of right now, we know that each performance core in Intel’s desktop/client versions of the Arrow Lake family will have access to up to 3 MB of level two (L2) cache. The most recent Raptor Lake and Raptor Lake Refresh processors from Intel include 2 MB of L2 cache per performance core. However, that will increase by 50% to 3 MB with the debut of the 15th generation Arrow Lake in 2024. Given that P-core capacity is increasing, we anticipate that E-core capacity will increase as well, but at a smaller magnitude.

The P-core microarchitecture for Arrow Lake will be based on Lion Cove, and the E-core design will be based on Skymont. For this CPU, Intel intends to employ a 20A node; further information will be released in 2019.
