The leaked SP rating for the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D sample is said to be higher than the majority of 9800X3D scores.

Evaluation samples of AMD’s Ryzen 9 9950X3D and 9900X3D processors have reportedly been distributed to international news and influencer outlets. It is anticipated that leaks would surface all the way up to the alleged lifting of review embargoes on March 11. We revealed a double NDA-busting test system late last week, which used a Radeon RX 9070 XT GPU and Team Red’s impending 16-core 3D V-Cache-equipped flagship gaming CPU. Another case was discovered by HXL (also known as 9550pro), whose investigative efforts over the weekend revealed an apparent ASUS Silicon Prediction (SP) rating of 120. According to reports, a Ryzen 9 9950X3D sample unit generated this total. The quality and overclock potential of a possible CPU are detected via the predictive rating system.

Social media users shared an off-screen screenshot of an anonymous tester’s UEFI BIOS session; the “MBEC-X870-0130” identifier indicates a generic ASUS motherboard model based on the X870-family. It is evident from leaked diagnostic data that this specific test build is powered by a “Ryzen 9 9950X3D” processor with a base clock of 4.3 GHz. The Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU owners’ tallies were compared to its 120 ASUS SP score. Several instances of AMD’s current gaming champion scored in the usual range of 113 to 118, according to VideoCardz. Any indication of superiority will be hailed as a success because it is anticipated that the impending 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X3D and 12-core 9900X3D components would only provide slight advantages (in gaming environments) over their 8-core brother.
