The RTX 5000 Ada Generation professional model was unveiled back in August by NVIDIA and PNY Technologies, along with a few more upgrades to the already-existing “Ada Lovelace architecture family of high-performance workstation graphics cards.” The Chinese Gigabyte flagship server store (a certified OEM) on JD.com is selling them for 35,999 RMB per pop (roughly $515), including taxes and other fees, according to VideoCardz, who observed that units began to arrive in retail stores last week. The RTX 5000 Ada’s official MSRP is $4000, so there has been some sort of upcharge, although it is still considerably less expensive than the flagship RTX 6000 Ada card. Both models use NVIDIA’s top-tier AD102 GPU, but the RTX 5000 Ada has fewer features to cut costs (it costs around half as much as the flagship).

The RTX 5000 Ada graphics card is currently available via PC Connection, Ebay, ProVantage, ShopBLT, and ThinkMate, among other workstation-oriented vendors, according to Tom’s Hardware. However, none of them are currently selling this add-in-board at its MSRP of $4,000; instead, prices are often 10–20 percent higher. ProVantage even goes so far as to claim that you are saving 37% off the card’s list price of $6,999. Nice effort. The upper-mid model for this year has not undergone a significant cooling solution overhaul by NVIDIA and PNY; the RTX 5000 Ada mostly retains the appearance and single blower fan system of its predecessor (RTX A5000), despite having been “upgraded” with a 12VHPWR PCIe connector.
