The HWMonitor software program’s most recent version (1.52) is ready in advance for a wide range of upcoming PC hardware items, most notably Intel’s Raptor Lake Refresh desktop processors. The Core i5-14600K/KF (14 cores), i7-14700K/KF (20 cores), and i9-14900K/KF (24 cores) CPUs are among the exact SKUs mentioned in the release notes; these CPUs have recently surfaced in a number of leaks. We anticipate that Team Blue will formally introduce these models to the world during their Innovation 2023 event, which begins on September 19.
A mixed bag of (i.e., very confusing) 14th Generation products consisting of Raptor Lake Refresh (possibly mobile variants) and Meteor Lake ranges are scheduled for “preliminary” support in HWMonitor v1.52, along with non-specific Core 3,5, 7, and Core Ultra 5, 7 and 9 series CPUs. The Radeon (Navi 32) RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT GPUs from AMD have also been added to the list of the app’s compatible GPUs.
