Pricing Information for AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Is Revealed in a Leaked Listing
If the recent RDNA 4 performance leaks are anything to go by, the AMD Radeon RX 9070 and the RX 9070 XT GPUs are sizing up to be excellent mid-range contenders. Naturally, that is, if the prices are reasonable enough. Following a leak, it was discovered that the RX 9070 XT AIB variants will retail for approximately $549, handily undercutting the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070.
A product listing for an RX 9070 XT from a Philippine shop has now been made public by another leak. The variant in question is Gigabyte’s Gaming OC model, with base and boost clocks of 2,400 and 2,970 MHz respectively. Additionally, a 256-bit memory bus with 16 GB of GDDR6 RAM is available. There are 64 RT cores and 4,096 shading units; nothing unusual is there.
Let’s move on to the exciting part: the cost. Priced at 35,000 pesos, with 12% tax, the RX 9070 XT Gaming OC is around $521 before taxes. How well RDNA 4 stacks up against NVIDIA’s products and how well NVIDIA’s partners price their variations will determine whether or not this is a good pricing. The RX 9070 XT does appear to be reasonably priced right now, but that is obviously just if the listing is correct. Having said that, it is important to point out that the listing has a few mistakes, which undoubtedly undermines credibility. However, as it’s pre-release, the errors might simply be inadvertent.
