Pre-launch pricing surfaces for the AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT at several retailers
Ahead of the June 5th release date, graphics card dealers are creating product pages for AMD’s upcoming Radeon RX 9060 XT. Famous leaker @momomo_us found early retail listings from Central Computers (US) with preliminary pricing starting at $319.99, according to Tom’s Hardware. Three ASRock versions of the RX 9060 XT have been listed by the California-based store. The Challenger 8 GB, Challenger 16 GB, and Steel Legend 16 GB are priced at $319.99, $369.99, and $389.99, respectively. While the Steel Legend has a $40 markup above MSRP, both Challenger models are $20 more expensive than AMD’s recommended retail value for their respective memory combinations. In comparison to AMD’s MSRP ($299 for the 8 GB variant and $349 for the 16 GB model), these higher pricing most likely represent factory overclocking implementations in all three versions. Additionally, VideoCardz noticed that Overclockers UK, a UK shop, momentarily displayed prices between £289.99 and £359.99 before hiding their listings to hide the true launch pricing.
NVIDIA’s RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti are direct competitors of AMD’s RX 9060 XT 8 GB and 16 GB, which are aimed at the mainstream market. With improvements to the most recent RDNA 4 architecture and new features like FSR 4 and the future FSR “Project Redstone” feature set, both RX 9060 XT variants are built on the 4 nm “Navi 44” silicon. According to the business, when tested across 40 game titles at 1440p, the RX 9060 XT 16 GB should outperform the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB by an average of 6%. Official pricing for the RX 9060 XT starts at $299 for the 8 GB device and $349 for the 16 GB model.
