Nine Models with a Single Core 9 Ultra SKU: Intel Core Ultra 200V Lunar Lake Family Leaks
Intel unveiled the Core Ultra 200V series, codenamed Lunar Lake, as the notebook market’s next-generation processing platform at Computex 2024. These CPUs, which are slated for debut in September 2024, are exciting both industry insiders and computer enthusiasts. In addition to the Core Ultra 7 and Core Ultra 5 models, Intel is expected to release nine Lunar Lake versions, including a single high-end Core Ultra 9 variant, according to the most recent leak by VideoCardz. Although specific details are still being kept under wraps, Intel’s emphasis on artificial intelligence capabilities is evident. The startup plans to integrate its fourth-generation Neural Processing Unit (NPU), which boasts up to 48 TOPS of performance, in order to earn a seat in Microsoft’s Copilot+ portfolio. It is anticipated that the Lunar Lake versions will have a hybrid architecture with four efficiency cores from Skymont and four performance cores from Lion Cove.
This design balances performance and energy efficiency with a focus on low-power mobile devices. Using the Xe2-LPG architecture, Intel is integrating its next-generation Arc technology for graphics, known as Battlemage GPU. According to the information that was leaked, non-upgradable LPDDR5-8533 memory in the size of 16 or 32 GB will be included with Lunar Lake processors. Depending on the model, seven or eight Xe2 GPU cores should be included in graphics configurations. The entry-level Core Ultra 5 226V is said to have performance cores that can clock up to 4.5 GHz and a base power of 17 W, with a maximum turbo power of 30 W. With performance cores that can surge to 5.1 GHz, an NPU capable of 48 TOPS, and a 30 W base power, the top-tier Core Ultra 9 288V is predicted to push the boundaries. The table below contains the remaining SKUs for you to view.
