Next-Generation HP Omen 17 Laptop Has NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 16 GB SKU
The renowned hardware leaker @momomo us claims that HP is getting ready to introduce its newest Omen 17 gaming laptops. Additionally, HP unintentionally released some information about laptop SKUs just as a new generation of CPUs was being released to consumers. There are four variants that combine NVIDIA’s Ada Lovelace RTX 40 series graphics cards for mobile/laptop devices with Intel’s 13th generation Raptor Lake mobile processors. The four SKUs are as follows: CK2007NQ/CK2004NQ with Core i7-13700HX & RTX 4080 12 GB; CK2007NQ/CK2005NQ with Core i7-13700HX & RTX 4060 8 GB; CM2001NQ with Core i7-13700HX & RTX 4070 8 GB; CK2001NQ with Core i7-13700HX & RTX
The xx90 series’ first debut in the mobile/laptop form factor, which has never happened before, is the most intriguing discovery made here. According to rumors, the GeForce RTX 4090 laptop model has 16 GB of VRAM, and the GPU SKU is supposed to be a scaled-down version of the AD102 GPU that has been modified for power and clock limitations to operate within a respectable TDP. Since NVIDIA appears to be offering the RTX 4090 SKU to its customers, we’ll have to wait and see how the CUDA core counts and clock speeds perform in a more constrained laptop environment.
