According to rumors, Intel has been experimenting with its naming methods; early this summer, engineering samples with the identifiers 1002H and 1003 were discovered to be missing. Another recent Geekbench registration also revealed a Core Ultra 5 125H chip with a lower performance level that was installed in a new HP OMEN Transcend Gaming Laptop.

The updated iGPU technology for laptop-oriented Meteor Lake processors is expected to be Xe-LPG (Alchemist), with a designation of up to 128 EU cores. However, the most recent Geekbench entries lack specific information about any discrete or integrated graphics processing units used by the tested HP laptops. Two Core Ultra 7 155H entries on Geekbench confirm a base clock of 3.8 GHz and a boost speed of about 4.8 GHz. The internal configuration appears to consist of 6 P-Cores, 8 E-Cores, and 2 lower power cores housed within its SoC die, with counts of 16 cores and 22 threads. The Core Ultra 7 155H’s top set of Geekbench 6.1 results included 12749 multi-core points and 2294 single-core points. This tenacious mobile processor joins some distinguished company, according to a VideoCardz evaluation: “its single-core score puts it above AMD Ryzen 7 5800X and Intel Core 13400 desktop CPUs. The multi-core performance is actually better than the Threadripper PRO 3955WX or Core i9-12900 non-K.
