After closing a game, the CPU use of the NVIDIA Display Container process can increase by as much as 15%, according to a new problem that was included in last week’s update of NVIDIA’s Game Ready Driver. The bug was just acknowledged by NVIDIA and given the bug track ID 4007208 on their forum in a feedback post. NvGSTPlugin.dll, also known as Game Session Telemetry Plugin, is a telemetry service loaded by NvidiaContainer after a game has been played that appears to be the source of the issue. Some users claim that doing so entirely removes the offense. dll completely resolves the issue, and a tutorial on how to do so has been offered in a topic about the release on the r/nvidia subreddit. The generally accepted advice is to simply stick with driver version 528.49 until the problem is fixed if that sounds like much too much trouble. As soon as tomorrow, NVIDIA is anticipated to release a hotfix driver to cure this and perhaps further problems.
