Blackwell NVIDIA RTX 5000 Memory Amounts Verified by the Pre-Built PC Manufacturer

By now, nearly no one is surprised that NVIDIA intends to introduce their next-generation RTX 5000-series “Blackwell” gaming graphics cards at the CES 2025 conference in early January in Las Vegas. We previously had a comprehensive overview of the anticipated VRAM capacities as well as other features and specifications for the upcoming GPUs thanks to leaks and rumors, but NVIDIA has not yet verified them for evident reasons. However, it appears like iBuyPower has stepped ahead of NVIDIA’s official announcement by revealing the new specifications for its revised lineup of pre-built gaming PCs featuring RTX 5000-series GPUs too soon. Although the offending product pages have since been taken down, they both confirm the VRAM quantities that were previously leaked as well as the anticipated release schedule for the RTX 5000, which is said to see the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5080 launch before the flagship RTX 5090.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 16 GB and GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB are the GPUs that will power two distinct forthcoming Y40 pre-built gaming PCs from the system integrator, according to iBuyPower’s now-pulled pages. The VRAM specs that we have seen from various leaked sources match those found here. Regretfully, it appears like iBuyPower is utilizing the same renders for the 5080 and 5070Ti versions of the pre-built PCs, even though an old version of the page for the pre-built featuring the RTX 5080 seems to show the design for an ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 5080 with a triple-fan cooler. The fact that iBuyPower appears to be matching the next-generation GPUs with AMD X3D CPUs from the 7000 series rather than the recently announced AMD Ryzen 9000 X3D processors that have begun to appear on the market is also intriguing.
