AMD Makes FSR 3 Source Code Available via GPUOpen
Through its GPUOpen initiative, AMD announced on Thursday the first release of the FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 (FSR 3) source code. The company recently created a GitHub repository for the FSR 3 source code, which is available to game developers worldwide. This contains the source code for both the FSR 3 Unreal Engine 5 plugin and the full DirectX 12 source. Along with it, the company published a wealth of documentation to assist developers in better understanding FSR 3’s internal workings and incorporating it into their games and applications. Along with this news, AMD revealed support for FSR 3 for even more upcoming and new games, such as “Black Myth: Wukong,” the three most recent entries in the “Warhammer” series, which also includes “Starfield,” “Pax Dei,” and “Crimson Desert.”
