AIB Leak “Reconfirms” Memory Configurations for Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB & 8 GB
Acer filed a lengthy EEC filing last week, revealing a number of undisclosed Nitro and Predator BiFrost Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card SKUs. It appears that the AMD board partner is getting ready to release two memory configurations—16 GB and 8 GB (GDDR6)—for its entry-level RDNA 4 custom cards. To find out if the previously mentioned specification points were tangible, VideoCardz contacted AIB industry moles. A report from the previous weekend “reconfirms” the arrival of 16 GB and 8 GB versions. Returning to RDNA 3, Team Red’s Radeon RX 7600 XT GPU came with a 16 GB capacity, although the less expensive Radeon RX 7600 only had an 8 GB VRAM pool. Basic technical specifications are apparently included in an unidentified board partner’s list of launch day offerings (see screenshot below).

According to leaked information, the Radeon RX 9060 XT has 128-bit memory interfaces and 16 GB and 8 GB GDDR6 models. According to VideoCardz, 20 Gbps RAM chips—which are found in the recently released Radeon RX 9070 series cards—will be used. According to the leaked product list, the necessary juice will be supplied via a single 8-pin power connector; a 500 W PSU is the minimum recommended need, while factory overlocked SKUs may require a 550 W PSU. The Radeon RX 9060 XT has a speculative “Navi 48 LE” GPU variant listed in TechPowerUp’s GPU database entry. According to VideoCardz, a “Navi 44” GPU—possibly adapted from a mobile component—would be more suitable for this class. According to the leak, there are two DP 2.1 ports and one HDMI 2.1 port; a lower GPU would struggle to drive more. A Team Red official revealed a rough Q2 2025 launch window for Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics cards during an official RDNA 4 launch event in Beijing late last month.
