Insiders predict that AMD will launch the Radeon RX 9060 XT cards at Computex 2025 on May 21.

Rumors about AMD’s intentions for the unofficial Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics cards have suggested both a potential May 18 release date and an anticipated early June retail debut. It appears that these disclosed timelines depend on something occurring during the Computex 2025 trade event next month; similarly, NVIDIA might be preparing rival products. According to a report from BenchLife.info, which revealed insider information from both camps, the complete ‘Blackwell’ gaming GPU series is anticipated to feature a (unannounced) GeForce RTX 5050, but NVIDIA has not officially verified this specific graphics card. AMD is anticipated to release the Radeon RX 9060 XT series graphics cards on May 21 following the release of Team Green’s GeForce RTX 5060 8 GB variant; however, the completed stock could not be available for purchase until June.

Many industry watchdogs were taken aback by Team Red and its involved board partners yesterday; until recently, the Radeon RX 9070 GRE 12 GB model’s release status was uncertain. VideoCardz thinks that leakers and moles were purposefully given false information. AMD will release the “Great Radeon Edition” card for this (RDNA 4) generation well before of lower-end alternatives, as some sites have accurately predicted. The previously announced (said) May 21 launch of Radeon RX 9060 XT cards coincides with AMD’s planned press presentation for Tuesday morning. Team Red’s Radeon RX 9060 XT 8 GB model was canceled, according to a number of news reports a few days ago; VideoCardz is unable to confirm this information. In terms of day zero/one media coverage, they believe that the 16 GB model will be given priority instead.
