Sale of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070

The GeForce RTX 5070 performance segment graphics card, which allows for maximum gameplay at 1440p with ray tracing, was introduced by NVIDIA today. The RTX 5070, which is based on the “Blackwell” graphics architecture, receives some of the newest features, such as DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, Neural Rendering, and an upgraded ray tracing hardware that is prepared for Mega Geometry. The new 5 nm “GB205” silicon, a mid-sized GPU with a well-rounded 50 SM or 6,400 CUDA cores, is introduced by the RTX 5070. With 48 SM or 6,144 CUDA cores available, the RTX 5070 nearly reaches this maximum.

The RTX 5070 also has 192 Tensor cores, 48 RT cores, 192 TMUs, and 80 ROPs, among other important specifications. Additionally, the SKU uses the entire 48 MB of L2 cache that is on the chip. These counts rise numerically in comparison to the RTX 4070 of the previous generation. The RTX 4070 features 36 MB of cache and 64 ROPs. The new 28 Gbps GDDR7 memory being used results in a 33% boost in memory bandwidth, even if the memory size remains constant at 12 GB. The initial price of the RTX 5070 is $550, but in practice, it might easily cost $700 or more.
