Pricing and Availability of AMD Ryzen 9000 “Zen 5” Desktop Processor Verified
AMD verified the cost and accessibility of its new Ryzen 9000 “Granite Ridge” desktop CPU versions in a post on X. These are now scheduled for a staggered rollout after experiencing a delay in their July 31 launch. Starting tomorrow, August 8, 2024, the 6-core Ryzen 5 9600X and the 8-core Ryzen 7 9700X will be obtainable. A week later, on August 15, come the flagship 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X and 12-core Ryzen 9 9900X processors. Additionally, the corporation verified the four chips’ prices in USD SEP. The confirmed pricing for the Ryzen 9 9950X is $650, with the Ryzen 9 9900X coming in at $500, the Ryzen 7 9700X at $360, and the Ryzen 5 9600X at $280. With launch prices of $700, $550, $400, and $300 for the 7950X, 7900X, 7700X, and 7600X, respectively, these are marginally less expensive than their predecessors.
