This Week, NVIDIA DLSS Is Available for Eight New Games
In honor of RTX 500, the company has announced that up to eight new games will receive support for their DLSS performance enhancement this week. This marks the milestone of having over 500 games and software included in the RTX ecosystem. This week, NVIDIA announced that DLSS 3 Frame Generation will be available in the highly anticipated e-sports game “The Finals,” the prison riot survival and escape game “SCUM,” which is modeled after PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, and the fantasy massively multiplayer online role-playing game “Throne and Liberty.” The latter two use Unreal Engine 4, while “The Finals” is built on UE 5. Additionally, the company says that “Sands of Aura,” “Silent Rain,” “Soulslinger: Envoy of Death,” “Fortnite Chapter 5,” and “The Devourer: Hunted Souls” will get DLSS 2 (super resolution).
NVIDIA also released some updates to its current DLSS support base. “Call of Duty: Warzone Season 1” includes DLAA, Reflex, and DLSS 3 Frame Generation. In addition to DLSS 3, NVIDIA is announcing support for Reflex for “The Finals,” which lowers system latency by up to 57%. “Soulslinger: Envoy of Death” is compatible with both DLSS 2 and DLAA. To enable DLSS and Reflex on the aforementioned games, make sure to download and install the GeForce 546.33 WHQL Game Ready drivers, which NVIDIA released late on Tuesday.
With the ability to reduce system latency by up to 28%, “Call of Duty: Warzone Season 1” now supports DLSS 3 Frame Generation, DLAA, and Reflex. DLSS 3 allows for 4K @ 120 FPS gameplay across the RTX 40-series lineup at different quality settings. “The Finals” debuts with Reflex, DLSS 3 Frame Generation, and real-time ray tracing. In addition to LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival experiences, Epic is getting ready to release “Fortnite Chapter 5” later this week. They receive backing for DLSS 2.
The jail escape game SCUM receives DLSS 3 Frame Generation on December 14. Users with older GeForce RTX GPUs can still benefit from DLSS 2. The day after, “Soulslinger” brings support for our preferred DLSS mode, DLAA, as well as DLSS 2. With support for DLSS 2, early access to “Silent Rain” and “The Devourer: Hunted Souls” is now possible.
