A desktop Intel Arc “Alchemist” A380 GPU was installed by a Chinese OEM on an MXM board for mobile workstations and notebooks. This is a desktop A380 that has been modified into an MXM 3.1 type-A board that supports PCIe Gen 4 x8 and is not the mobile A380M. Three GDDR6 memory chips surround the 6 nm ACM-G11 ASIC, adding up to the board’s 6 GB of memory across its 96-bit memory bus. This board’s strict power constraints, which are set at 50 W but can draw up to 75 W, are what make it fascinating. Three HDMI and one DP output are produced by the card. Its cooling system mount-hole spacing resembles that of the well-known GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, it seems.
