NVIDIA France Inadvertently Discloses GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Specifications

The official GeForce RTX 4070 Ti debut is less than a week away, but NVIDIA France has already ruined the surprise by disclosing the forthcoming GPU’s specifications. The complete product page appears to have been provided by NVIDIA’s French subsidiary, but it has since been removed. That didn’t stop Twitter leaker @momomo us from taking a few screenshots, one of which was of the official NVIDIA performance data.

However, there aren’t any major shocks because the RTX 4070 Ti was originally intended to be the RTX 4080 12 GB until NVIDIA changed its mind. As a result, we already knew the CUDA core count and memory amount. In the three official benchmarks, NVIDIA compares the RTX 4070 Ti to the RTX 3080 12 GB, which is fascinating because it gives the RTX 4070 Ti a much better appearance than it actually is, at least based on the rumored MSRP of US$800–900. NVIDIA claims the RTX 4070 Ti is roughly 3.5 times faster than the RTX 3080 in one of the three benchmarks, Cyberpunk 2077 using Raytracing, although it’s important to read the tiny print. The RTX 4070 Ti’s actual performance and the final official and retail prices will be known by the end of the following week.
