By the end of December, non-reference AMD Radeon RX 7900 Series RDNA3 will be available.

On December 13, 2022, AMD releases the RX 7900 XTX and RX 7900 XT RDNA3 graphics cards. You can purchase one at this time for the MSRP of $899 for the RX 7900 XT and $999 for the RX 7900 XTX. But only reference-design MBA (manufactured by AMD) graphics cards will be available for purchase through the company’s numerous add-in board (AIB) partners. According to a Board Channels report reviewed by Wccftech, the non-reference (custom design) RX 7900 series apparently hits the market 1 to 2 weeks after December 13.

In contrast to the NVIDIA Founders Edition graphics card, which is only marketed under the NVIDIA brand, AMD’s reference-design graphics cards are sold through its AIB partners and bear little to no partner branding. The AIBs themselves are in charge of the after-sales service, which includes product warranties and other brand-specific elements. Cards with a bespoke design are those created by AIB partners; customization includes the cooling system, the PCB, and in some cases, factory-overclocked speeds. These might take off one to two weeks after December 13, putting their launch date somewhere between December 20 and 27. (our yikes go out to reviewers).
