A driver fix is being worked on for the 3% of AMD Radeon users who may experience unusually low 3DMark TimeSpy performance.

According to UL Benchmarks, the creators of the 3DMark graphics test suite, about 3% of users with AMD Radeon graphics cards may encounter 3DMark TimeSpy performance that is below average. When a Google developer found that his RX 7900 XTX was performing less than expected in TimeSpy, he raised the matter with UL. The creator of 3DMark notes that AMD is aware of the problem, has had better success in duplicating it, and is working on a driver-level remedy even if they haven’t been able to replicate it on their end. As of right however, the only option provided by UL is to go back to an earlier driver version and perform the testing once more.
